The Problem

Imported shrimp makes up over 90% of the shrimp Americans eat. But a lot of that imported supply comes from crowded, chemically treated ponds overseas where oversight and traceability can be inconsistent. These issues have raised concerns about antibiotics, environmental harm, and labor practices, pushing more people to look for fresher, locally raised options.

Our Solution

Our solution pairs best-in-class aquaculture technology with Iowa’s greatest strength—its agricultural expertise—to produce clean, traceable, responsibly raised shrimp right here at home. By leveraging controlled, closed-loop systems and the state’s strong ag infrastructure, we’re proving that premium, ocean-free seafood can be grown sustainably in the Midwest.

Since beginning construction in late 2023, we are officially raising shrimp with our first harvest taking place in August 2025.

The Product

Our shrimp stand out for their natural blue hue—a sign of a perfectly clean, mineral-rich, algae-based water environment. Raised in crystal-clear, recirculating water with no antibiotics, no chemicals, and no additives of any kind, they’re among the cleanest shrimp you can buy. Harvested fresh and handled with care, they deliver a sweet, crisp flavor and exceptional texture you can taste in every bite. This is shrimp grown the right way: pure, pristine, and incredibly fresh.

Our Farm

Set in the rolling hills of Western Dallas County, our barn construction began in late 2023 and is now becoming reality - we’re supplying local households and wholesale buyers while helping shape the future of agriculture in our state.
